De Vouge Hair Catalogue

In the beginning of the year, I wrote about this hair catalogue shoot I did and the photos from the mini catalogue shoot finally came out!

Basically, De Vouge is a bridal/photo studio. You know the kind where you head to just to get your wedding, family or baby photos taken. De Vouge also specialises in amazing hair & make up for your shoot. This photoshoot was basically for their catalogue for clients to browse through. The hair & make up artist is such a creative & sweet lady. Check out the amazing hairstyles I had on my head ;)

Loved most of the hairstyles!
Don't worry, this isn't all they have in stored for their clients! There's way more.

It was honestly an amazing experience, quite tiring tho. Check their studio out if you're interested :) they're located in Sunway Giza, same row as Al Rajhi Bank, but upstairs :)

From Gift to Gifts

A charity concert to help raise funds for the The National Kidney Foundation. Dialysis machines these days cost a bomb and the amount of patients on the waiting list for dialysis is never ending. The Leo Club of SMK Damansara Jaya and The National Kidney Foundation has come together to organise a charity concert to help raise funds to not only purchase dialysis machines, but also to raise funds to help those who are not capable in funding the treatment.

This concert is not only a generous event, but also a night filled with entertainment. The members involved in organising has put loads of effort into making this event happen and all we need is your support. Do make sure you leave the night of the 23rd of February free and come on over to MBPJ Dewan Sivik Auditorium to support the event.

The concert will consist of some band performances, solo acts and also group performances. My friends & I were lucky in a sense that we got invited to dance for the charity event so do drop by to support not only us, but the whole event.

If you're interested and wondering how to purchase the ticket, do contact the Solomon at 012-9107433 as stated in the poster above. To find out more details, you can head on over to their blog at http://leosmkdj.blogspot.com or follow them on Twitter for all the latest updates https://twitter.com/leosmkdj :)

2014 Lunar New Year

Cheers to another Lunar New Year! It's the time of the year where people like me have an excuse to binge eat and also the time of the year for me to get slightly richer by collecting 'ang paos' (red packets filled with money in them).

I have to admit that the CNY's (Chinese New Year) I've experienced when I was younger were much more festive and I can't deny that it's getting more and more boring each year. Maybe it's just that the older we get, the less festive it is to us because we don't do much during this time of the year anymore. Well, at least I don't.

Basically, I spent the first day of my CNY at home, bonding with the family and so. Second day was spend at my grandparents' place in Klang. Some part of me still wished she stayed in Penang so that every CNY I would at least get to travel, but hey, her being so close to us isn't a bad thing either. Headed to the temple because y'know, grandparents...

 With the family :)

Outerwear : Fox-Out / Top : Cotton On / Skirt : H&M / Shoes : Agape Boutique

On the road snack, Malaysian mochi for life!

The next day, I had my annual CNY open house. Had friends & family from all over come visit us and we also catered some food for the guests too.

With the best bunch of friends & family!
Was a great day indeed.

Dress : Fox-Out

My CNY wasn't as festive as others but it was definitely memorable.
