How To Deal With HATE?

AHHH, we're back to this topic again...

It's that time of the year again, the once in a blue moon storm of hate that floods my ask.fm. It's funny how people haven't matured a single bit. Anyways, besides receiving hate I've also been receiving questions from people who were wondering how I deal with hate.

your long awaited answer...

jk

OK, IN ALL SERIOUSNESS...

People filled with negativity will always be around or near you. It's something you can't avoid but it's also something you can deal with. Me a year ago would tell you to tell them to FUCK OFF AND ROT IN HELL etc but I realised how immature that was. These negative people who hate on you and constantly bash about you are really just sitting there with popcorn in their hands waiting for you to screw up. Once you lash out and say something stupid, "ding ding" they win and they get the upper hand. So, how can you deal with it? You're pissed af and all you wanna do is commit murder but no...

Calm yourself down. Hesitate for a bit. Look at it from a different perspective and ask yourself what  you have done to deserve the hate you've received. Ask yourself if you've done anything offensive to anyone and if you have then apologise. If you haven't and they're just casually bashing about you for no  apparent reason then here's what you should know...

"Those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind."

These people are just casually calling you names, looking down on you and wanting you dead. They're technically cyber bullies who think that by hiding behind that computer screen of theirs, they're not sinning. They just casually hate on people because of how they are or what they do and they think it's okay to just channel all that negativity. They think it's okay to put someone down just because it's not in person. And you know what, I want you to deal with it. I want you to ask yourself, do these people matter to you? Do their opinions really affect you? That one person so full of hate does not represent what the whole world thinks of you so HONESTLY, DOES THAT ONE PERSON'S OPINION MATTER? Is it worth beating yourself up for? Is it worth changing how you really are for someone WHO DOESN'T MATTER? It could be a computer virus for all you know. So before getting so engrossed in all of it, think about how little it matters to you. You're worth more than someone's petty "opinion" and you should know that. You need to know that it's okay to be however and whatever you want to be and that there will always be people who just cannot and would not accept it. So what? There will always be those who love you just the way you are. You should only take note from those who matter and never from those who are insignificant. So listen up, next time you receive something negative over the internet you either ignore & remove it or tell them how glad you are to be who you are and nothing they say will break you because there is nothing wrong with being exactly who you are. Just keep doing what you do best and focus on where you plan to be. I honestly hope this helps because I want whoever that might take interest in this topic to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Turn that frown upside down :) x

Food Adventures (5)

Oh my love for food and cafes...

Frisky Goat in TTDI is literally THE place to be.

A small cosy cafe that has food I love there. It's what I'd love to wake up to on a Sunday morning to indulge. I particularly enjoyed their pastries and Aglio Olio.
Frisky Goat : 72, Jalan Burhanuddin Helmi, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur

Next up is Vietnamese sandwiches from O Banh Mi, or as I like to call it...

Vietnamese Subways'

Not my favourite but it was alright...I'm pretty sure it's not the food, it's me. I generally don't fancy the whole concept of Vietnamese Subways' but for those who are up for it, go ahead!
O Banh Mi (serves pork) : 33, Jalan SS 21/56B, Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya.
Dal.Komm Coffee is basically another (better) version of Cafe Bene. It offers more choices compared to Cafe Bene and more exciting flavours to their bingsu's. I particularly enjoyed my Apple Crumble Bingsu. It was very different and I loved it!

Did I mention that Dal.Komm Coffee is a music cafe? Basically, they have guitars laying around and also iPads & headphones for you to enjoy unlimited music based on whatever genre you like.
Dal.Komm Coffee : Jalan SS 21/56, Damansara Utama, 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Dad brought me to Jackson's Burger in Seksyen 14. An old couple who has been selling their homemade burgers on their lorry/mobile kitchen for years now. Their burgers are super simple and very very basic but somehow people love it anyway.

Jackson's Burger : along Jalan 14/29, Section 14 PJ.
Sheng Wei brought me to this restaurant/cafe that he usually has lunch at with his college mates.

The food is really cheap and portions are big. It's always packed during lunch hour, filled with students and nearby office workers. I enjoyed my pasta & pork belly the most hehe!
The Hungry Hog (serves pork) : 71, Jalan SS15/4C, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor, 47500
The ever-so-Instagram-worthy Magnum Cafe and its ice-cream :p

Thought I'd give it a go even though the line was pretty insane. I enjoyed personalising my own ice-cream but I didn't think I was given enough time to decide thoroughly on how I wanted it to be because there were so many people and if you take your time, you're basically holding up the line zzz I didn't fancy that but nevertheless, my ice-cream looked swell :p tasted good as well. I had fun and its worth the hype!

I definitely have a thing for waffles and Madame Waffle in Mid Valley serves really yummy Belgium waffles.

Although not as crispy as how it should be but the variety of  delicious flavours they offer sorta make up for it.

I saw people posting about Underground Societe and I told myself I had to try it! It's another one of Coffee Societe's cafes that is located not too far from Garage 51.

I didn't get to try much because I already had lunch. I tried the cafe's dessert specialty, Underground Grenade. It was alright, basically Bomb Alaska with a twist. It had a nice meringue covering a whole lot of choco mint ice-cream. Much yum, super fat.
Underground Societe 68, Jalan PJS 11/7, Bandar Sunway, 46150 Subang Jaya, Selangor
Sheng Wei spontaneously brought me out for dinner at The Humble Pie Co one night and wow it was good!

From homemade pies to their special grilled/baked chicken that successfully tackled my tastebuds. I enjoyed every bit of that dinner. I heard their Banoffee Pie was the shiz too but I was too full for dessert so maybe next time.
The Humble Pie Co : No.11, Jalan 17/45, Section 17, 46400 Selangor Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
Ever heard of Coconut Jelly? IT'S THE BEST DESSERT EVER! There's this little cafe called Coconut Grove that specialises in coconut goodies and they have the best Coconut Jelly I've ever tasted. I head there on most days after a long day of school. It's refreshing and filling. My favourite topping will have to be Aloe Vera!

Coconut Grove Dessert Corner : C-B-02, BU 11,Oasis Business Centre, PJU 6Lebuh Bandar Utama, Bandar Utama
I always thought Ahmad & Co. was just another one of those cafes like Wood & Steel...nice ambiance with not so good food. I was wrong! I had lunch with Thira & Mira the other day at the cafe and the food was really not bad. Although they don't have a ton of choices but I'm good with settling for quality over quantity.

Their pancakes are ON POINT. God knows how they make it so perfectly round and fluffy!
Ahmad & Co : 11G, Jalan PJU 5/20A, The Strand, Kota Damansara, Selangor
