Food Adventures (1)

Just yesterday, Nelson, Raz, Alisa & I took time off to go cafe hopping around town. We basically came up with this idea during a boring school event meeting. We were just talking and somehow we ended up talking about the top cafes in town (more like the 'hipster/conceptual cafes'). Being the adventurous bunch that we are, we thought that it'd be cool to go from cafe to cafe to try out different kinds of food. 

We had breakfast at Antipodean, Mid Valley. Antipodean can also be found in Bangsar, Jalan Telawi 2 & KL (just search it up). There are 3 branches in Kuala Lumpur so be sure you don't miss out! They serve one of the best breakfasts in town (or so they say, and by they...I mean me/us/reviews online). 

Food was no doubt delicious, ambiance was amazing too. I'm not too sure about the ambiance at the other two branches but the one at Mid Valley was really quite nice, and having good company was definitely a plus.

After breakfast, we wandered around and headed for a movie. We left for Bangsar after our movie and headed to Mikey's New York Pizza at Jalan Telawi 2. It's actually right opposite Antipodean, Bangsar. Pretty ironic...

Mikey's New York Pizza is HUGE. They're basically inspired by the big ass pizzas from Disneyland cafes/cafeterias.

Pizza was good and honestly we couldn't afford to stuff ourselves to the extreme with a whole pizza which is like 16 inches??? that's cray...maybe next time :p

After pizza, we walked around Bangsar Village 1 & 2. When we all finally agreed we had space to stuff some more, we headed to The Daily Grind at Bangsar Village 1. Everyone has been posting pictures of their famous waffles on Instagram and we decided to try it out. It was indeed one of the best waffles I've tried.

Full of fat but it makes me happy and happiness is the key to life...(and I complain I'm such a fat ass later at home...*and the cycle continues*)

This is not the only photo I have but it is the only decent one to me...tho literally look like the crossed eye laughing emoji (XD) sigh at self but it was definitely one of the best cheat days I have ever had.
